Paradoxical Tales

WITHIN” promises vaguely but emphatically to give a couple of hints toward the acquisition of a contemporary Philosopher’s Stone

Some may recognize in that term the alchemical substance able to transmute a metal into pure gold.

If it existed, that could prove to be somewhat valuable.

Our Philosopher’s Stone is to be taken quite literally, as philosophy is the basic and essential curiosity that makes us humans.

To paraphrase Novalis, and the motto of this site,

“It is so unfortunate that philosophy bears a specific name and that philosophers are members of a special circle, while philosophy is not something separated, and absolutely not a specialty. Philosophy is the very path of the human mind, its very own way of behaving."

Why would the reader seek this particular Philosopher’s Stone?

Because that Stone can teleport the often pathetic and absurd reality of mere mortals into a most interesting dimension!

WITHIN” is a work in progress for technical reasons evoked in the Biography paragraph.

Author’s Biography

Basically, the author has read a few books.

He has reflected, written, meditated, acted…

Most notably, he has made most of the possible errors available to a human being.

Curiously, he has eventually found the infamous Philosopher’s Stone.

Allegedly.

It must be noted though, that he is in perpetual danger of forgetting where he has placed it.

If this book is incomplete, it is just because the author must, like everyone else, devote a big proportion of his time to survive and perform common, trivial matters which is, by the way, the best way to polish a Philosopher’s Stone.

However, little by little and in any case, the reader should see the chapters posted anyway!

PS) In truth, obviously, there is always some intrinsic, mild urgency in the fact we are finite in an infinite world
